This work is about the question we ask every day. A question that is constantly voiced but has no answer.
“When will the war end?”
“When will the horror stop?”
“When will good life come to the country?”
“When will people stop suffering?”
…
These thoughts accumulate, intertwine, and turn into a ball that rolls inside a person. This state is embodied by the black tangled mass in the center of the work.
The dark spot is the source of evil. It resembles tar spreading across the world. The attempt to cover it with a paper "band-aid" is an illusion of a quick fix, a superficial action that cannot contain true destruction.
The elongated light source above symbolizes time – endless, viscous, painfully slow. The light seems to be there, but it is far away, and the path to it seems too long.
In this work, questions exist, but there are no answers.
There is only anticipation, tension, and the feeling of a suspended "when" that floats in the air as an empty sound.
